Description
This was a beautiful, sensual place of field after field in the rolling hills with scent of lavender in the air. The day was perfect, sunny, serene and so relaxing. I painted several scenes on location in Provence, Southern France on a 2 1/2 month extraordinary painting trip. After returning home to my studio, using my small studies, I painted a few larger paintings and this was one of them.
